I established and managed two insurance agencies–an independent agency in Massachusetts and a captive agency in Montana. Between 1997 and 2011, I served as a faculty member of the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents, the Montana Insurance Education Foundation, and PIA West. In 2003, I became an approved continuing education provider, at which time I began developing, writing, and presenting insurance continuing education courses under the trade name, Faulkner Education Services.
Several years later, I also began working with several national insurance continuing education (CE) providers to develop and write courses in their online curriculums. I now develop and write insurance CE courses exclusively for A.D. Banker & Company, for which I am their senior subject matter expert and course developer. Click here for my full resume.
I maintain producer licenses with lines of authority in Property & Casualty, Life, and Health in multiple states. In the past, I’ve held Series 6 and 63 registrations and a license as a P&C consultant. I held the CIC designation from 1997 to 2011.
Putting words together has been my lifelong passion. I’ve published numerous magazine articles and a monthly newspaper column that ran for seven years. Three Rivers Lifestyle, a regional celebrating the best of Western Montana and Rough Notes, an insurance industry trade publication, published the most popular of my magazine articles.
My business book, Taking the Mystery Out of Business, was published in January 2011 to excellent reviews and received a 5-star review from the Director of Career Advancement, School of Business Administration, at the University of Montana.
