Ethical Insurance Practices

This course is approved for 3 hours of CE in Montana and addresses the history of ethics, federal and state regulations, and Unfair Trade Practices, along with illustrating how ethics became significant within the insurance industry.  It also discusses the relationships between insurance producers and the insurance companies they represent, including such topics as the Law of Agency, authority, duties and obligations, and conflicts of interest.  The Division of Insurance requires insurance producers, adjusters, and consultants to comply with continuing education requirements, specifically 3 hours of approved ethics topics.  This course is approved for all adjusters and producers, including limited lines credit producers and surety bail bonds producers.

This course expires on April 30, 2012.  Your completed exam must reach our office NO LATER than April 27, 2012.
